UVMS is an American Montessori Society (AMS) member school. We are in the process of  becoming a member school with  American Montessori Internationale (AMI).  AMS besides AMI, is the biggest accrediting society of Montessori schools ensuring teacher preparation and the prepared environment/curriculum are in conjunction with the core values of Montessori pedagogy.
